For owners
Your page belongs to the people you serve. Here's what you can do โ and what nobody can, including us.
You can
- Reply to any review, publicly, once (you can edit your reply).
- Report a review you think breaks the content policy. A person on our desk decides; the review stays up meanwhile.
- Print an in-store card. Guests who scan it get a "Scanned in person" mark on their review.
- Put a "Rate us" link or badge on your site from your listing โ Share kit.
Nobody can
- Delete or hide a review because it's negative. Not you, not us.
- Edit what a reviewer wrote.
- Buy, trade for, or write fake reviews. Federal rules (FTC, 16 CFR Part 465) ban that, and so do we.
Asking for reviews, the right way
- Ask everyone, not only the guests you think were happy.
- Don't offer anything in return for a good review. If you thank people for reviewing at all, it has to be the same for any honest review, and they should tick "I got something for writing this".
- You, your staff and your family can review โ tick "I own, work for, or am family". It's shown with that label and doesn't count toward the score.
Your owner link
Each owner gets a private link from Christopher. It opens your reviews with reply and report buttons, plus your in-store card. Keep it like a key; if it leaks, we replace it and the old one stops working.
